Student Performance and Exam Results

Connell Co-op College is Manchester’s (and Trafford, Stockport, Oldham, Salford, Wigan, Bolton) top-performing A-Level provider in terms of students’ progress, according to the government’s latest school performance tables.

In 2017 our students achieved their best ever A-Level results, with a 97% pass rate, and 75% achieving A*-C grades.

Our A-Level results in 2017 show that the final grades our students achieve, compared to their starting points when joining the institution, is nearly twice that of any other school in the area.

The government’s statistics measure what students are expected to achieve at A-Level based on their GCSE attainment against their actual results. That progress is then given a score, with Connell’s figure of 0.28 leading the way in Manchester, and second place only scoring 0.17.
