Intimate Care Policy

Connell Co-op College - Intimate Care Policy

Currently, the College does not provide intimate care to any students. The College does not have facilities nor the trained staff available to accommodate students requiring intimate care at this time.

In line with Local authority guidance on transition, when a student with an EHCP seeks to make an application to the College we work with their school’s SEND team and their family to assess whether we will be able to meet their needs. Where we are unable to do so, we will provide a recommendation of another suitable post 16 provider in the locality.

This policy will be reviewed and updated if necessary on an annual basis in February following the close of our application window.
