Enrichment

We run a range of different enrichment activities throughout the year, which can be split into three categories: sport, wellbeing and academic.

Make your Autumn Term Enrichment choices using this Google Form (you'll need to be signed in to your college emails to access it).

Some of the enrichment activities offered at different stages of the academic year include:

  • Academic Skills Workshop
  • Backgammon and Chess
  • Badminton
  • Basketball
  • Book Club
  • Debate Society
  • Driving Theory
  • Duke of Edinburgh Award
  • eSport
  • LGBTQ+
  • Meditation
  • Netball
  • Pottery/Craft/Mindful Colouring
  • Practical Mindset Workshop
  • Table Tennis
  • Volleyball

If you fancy a challenge, you can take part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award. You will volunteer, develop a skill and complete an expedition. It’s a great way to increase your resilience, independence and teamwork skills. Not only that, but it’s recognised by universities and employers, so it'll look great on your CV.

Throughout the year, you’ll get the chance to go on trips abroad, theatre visits and university lectures. We also invite expert speakers to come in and talk to you. These experiences support the learning you do in college.

We’re surrounded by excellent sporting facilities. Just across the road there is a swimming pool, gym and dance studio where students get free membership year-round.

We also have a sports hall and MUGA that can be used by students. They're also where many of our enrichment sports clubs take place.
