We’re Manchester’s number one sixth form college for Destinations, and A Level and BTEC Level 3 progress.

This academic year has seen a huge rise in students volunteering to help organise college events. Together, we planned activities for lots of different things, such as Mental Health Awareness, fundraising for charities, LGBT+ recognition, combating racism and celebrating the amazing diversity of our students and staff.
A group of Connell Year 12 students have co-designed a free music festival, LiveOutLoud, with the North Manchester charity, Winning Hearts and Minds.
We’ve been running a new cooking class enrichment this term which has been a really popular addition to our extracurricular activities.
The Rights Respecting Schools Award puts children’s rights at the heart of school life in the UK. The award comes in three stages - bronze, silver and gold. We have just achieved the first stage (bronze) on our way towards attaining gold.
We were pleased the Greater Manchester Combined Authority chose Connell to launch it's new Curriculum for Life website today.
British Science Week is an annual 10-day celebration of thousands of events running throughout the UK with the aim of celebrating science, engineering, technology and maths.
