We play a key role in our Trust’s new Maths Excellence Programme which aims to drive maths attainment Trust-wide.

Our students mentor younger students from other academies, helping to inspire them to study maths beyond post-16. 

Aside from benefitting from the mentoring experiences; our students can be mentored,  receive additional tuition from our maths tutor, and get to have university experiences to help encourage them to pursue maths/maths-related degrees. 

Coming to Connell is the best choice if you have ambitions to go to university to study the exciting field of mathematics or a maths-related field – statistics, engineering, computer science, etc. All of which lead to careers that make a real impact on the modern world.
